These reels are the 6th generation in the legendary Penn International line up and have been crafted in Philadelphia, USA by Penn’s highly experienced technicians. Once you pick this reel up you will truly appreciate the super solid powerhouse that they really are.

The aircraft grade aluminium machined and anodised body and side-plates allow the reel to be super light in weight yet high in strength and overall durability. Fitted with stainless steel main and pinion gears, these reels also have a Quick-Shift II 2-speed system to allow you to easily shift from a low to high gear.

The Dura-Drag system virtually eliminates hesitation, even under extreme drag settings and results in a smoother start up. The innovative and unique Versa-Strike Adjustable Strike stop allows you to change the reel's strike position to match your angling preferences. Additional features include a double-dog ratchet anti-reverse and an ergonomic handle design for total comfort.

The line capacity rings are featured on the reel for allowing you to see how much line you have left during the fight. There are three model types in the range available to the UK. The VISW is a wide spool model ideal for heavier mainlines giving you more line capacity when targeting large hard fighting fish.

The 50VISW is the ultimate big fish reel for anglers targeting skate, tuna and a range of shark species in UK waters and all manner of blue water species further afield.
