Orvis Clearwater Switch

The new Orvis Clearwater Switch Rod has had a complete overhaul from the ground up by Orvis’s Vermont rod designers. This range have under-gone a significant upgrade in performance and materials, perfect for sea trout, salmon and trout fishing!

These rods are highly versatile and are made from strong, durable and lightweight blanks. The rod is fitted throughout with chrome snake and stripping guide with a ceramic insert.

The reel seat is made from full black nickel aluminium for additional durability and reliability. The handles are made from high quality cork for comfort and a secure grip.

Each rod was designed with a purpose-built profile and action to handle the kind of fishing the rod model would be traditionally used for. The 11ft #7 rod is ideal for chasing seatrout on substantial water, and can carry the battle to summer salmon and grilse when the opportunity presents itself. Lightweight and comfortable to cast, this is the ideal all-around rod for the new two-handed angler.

The Orvis Clearwater Switch Rod is supplied in a grey rod tube to provide you with easy and convenient transportation.
