OPST Commando Groove Skagit Heads

Bridging the gap, OPST present their Commando Groove Skagit Heads - their new dual-density floating / intermediate heads.

Featuring the same popular and effective taper as the Commando Heads and designed by Skagit Guru Ed Ward, these lines have a floating rear third and an intermediate front to really slow down that swing and presentation, along with getting that head and tip under the conflicting surface currents for a more user friendly swing as well!

These heads utilise the same concept as the original Commando Heads, they are designed to be used with traditional Spey rods, optimised for shorter switch rods and single handed fly rods.

If you already got one of the OPST Commando Head and/or Smooth Systems, you'll want to go down 25 grains when choosing the Commando Groove.

The OPST Commando Groove Skagit Heads feature welded loops on both ends for fast rigging and the heads are a vivid orange and translucent green colour.

Available in sizes ranging from 200 grains all the way to 475 grains, to cover all your needs on the water.
