Metz Grade 3 Half Cock Necks

This is the Metz Grade 3 Half Cock Neck. This is ideal for those who wish to have the feathers from the Cock Neck but doesn't need the vast quantity of the full neck. The half neck is great for small Trout fly tying due to their stiff and durable hackles and still offer a good amount of feathers.

These long feathers can be found on Pike flies as streamer patterns as well as on Trout dry flies as parachute hackle. Metz have been the market leaders in the production of genetic hackles for over 20 years and continue to offer the finest quality and best value for money for all fly tyers.

Common flies found with the Cock Neck feathers is the Klink and Dink, Soir Klink and Detached Mayfly Dun.

The Metz Half Cock Neck Grade 3 is approximately 30cm in length x 6cm in width.

Available in 10 colours Badger, Black, Brown, Cream, Cree, Dark Dun, Ginger, Grizzle, Dyed Claret and Dyed Olive.
