Description / Loop Evotec Cast Series Fly Rod

The Loop Evotec Cast Series Fly Rod is without a doubt, the world's next generation of fly rods and are uniquely designed with colour coded blank actions. No matter what action the rod has, each one in this range provides unrivalled performance and outstanding value for money.

The Evotec Cast series uses DCT (Dynamic Core Technology) which is directional carbon fibre applied in specific inter-layering sequences during the construction process. Each one of these layers works effectively together with the rod to produce exceptional strength throughout the entire blank. This technology enhances tip recovery during the casting and also vastly improves the rod's durability.

Loop have combined the DCT with industry-leading taper designs, that will seriously impress you and the CAST in the title stands for Colour, Action, Sequence, Tempo. This concept has been created and developed by Loop to provide flexibility in rod actions for any given fly fishing environment.

The Loop Evotec Cast Series Fly Rods we have in stock are available in the Medium Fast and Fast actions to match your casting style and your chosen discipline of fly fishing. See below for the description of the Medium Fast and Fast actions.

Medium Fast
The Medium Fast blank is presented in a pearlised grey colour and provides anglers with the performance of a fast action rod but with a deeper feel of the blank.

This action allows for continual power application through the casting stroke and will help you to achieve optimum fly presentation and fish-fighting ability.

This range of rods have been designed for freshwater fishing and are finished off using AAA grade cork, a unique triangular reel seat and include hard chrome snake guides. There are also white dots on each section, which helps you line up your rod sections correctly and quickly without the need to manually align the rod eyes.

The medium fast action rods have a 4 piece design and are available in a 9ft #6 and a 10ft #7.

Blank in aesthetic pearlised grey finish
High-grade cork handle with Cork mix reinforcements
Triangular 3-pin aluminium reel seat in bright anodized finish
Ceramic stripping guides and chrome snake guides
Rod model inscription and dot mark on ferrules for correct fit on rod sections
Delivered in matching pentagonal tube and cloth bag
Designed and developed in Sweden

Fast
The Fast blank is presented in a pearlised blue colour and are incredibly powerful, stiff rods to handle heaver lines, particularly in windy weather.

Fast action rods push the limits of performance and the stiffness of the blank means less flex which helps fighting larger fish. You can cast a wide range of lines and multiple flies from this rod and it works best if you have good timing and casting technique.

These models will accurately present flies at distance with both power and finesse to an extensive range of species.

These rods are designed for use in both fresh and saltwater fishing and benefits from AAA grade cork, titanium stripping guides, hard chrome snake rings and a triangular reel seat. The fast action rods, like the medium fast models, have the same white dots on each section to line up your rod sections correctly and quickly.

The fast action rods have a 4 piece design and are available in a 9ft #6 and a 10ft #7.
