The Loop Cross SX Double Handed Fly Rod is a step up from Loop's Cross S1 series and delivers above-and-beyond performance with incredible accuracy and casting distance.

This double handed rod is a 4 piece design with a construction built from the very latest combination of proprietary nano-resin and high tensile carbon. This is Loop's Cross Core Technology system that provides this rod with a highly robust core and phenomenal durability to withstand the extremes of modern fly fishing.

The combination found in this technology provides each rod with positive rod tracking and sensitivity for delicate fly presentation and produces maximum casting distance with little effort. These world-class rods have a fast action, designed to make long casts and is stiffer throughout the rod with minimal flexibility to help you fight larger fish.

You can be certain this rod will deliver on distance and performance when you cast and will punch your line out to where you want it to go. When you are casting, the fast action creates a seamless transfer of energy and causes minimal reaction in the rod tip so your fly line will land where you intend it to.

Additional features of this rod include the aesthetically stunning matte smoke coloured body with red accented guide wraps and silver details. The handle is constructed from high quality cork and includes a triangular 3-pin aluminium reel seat in a Gunmetal finish. The titanium stripper guides and snake rings help reduce friction on your line and create a much faster line speed and longer casting.
