JRC Extreme TX Rod

The JRC Extreme TX Rod is designed for predator bait fishing and carp fishing. Each model offers a strong progressive action, ideal for dealing with those specimen sized fish fighting at close quarters. The rod blank will absorb those hard lunges, decreasing the chance of a hook pull.

These rods have a two piece design and are made with durable 36T carbon blanks, fitted throughout with slim inlay, braid resistant SIC guides. There is a 10ft model with a 40mm guide pattern with an anti-wrap tip ring and this version is ideal for fishing the margins at close quarters where a more finesse presentation is required. The 12ft model has a 50mm guide pattern with an anti-wrap tip ring are ideal for medium to long range work.

The reel seat has a strong yet lightweight carbon construction with an isotope slot, perfect for night fishing as it provides a visual indicator where the rod is located on the bank. The handle is made with a full Japanese rubber shrink wrap design which not only makes for a durable and slick look but it's easily cleaned with a damp cloth unlike cork or EVA handles.

The end features a laser engraved metal butt cap for protecting the butt section of the rod when in contact with the ground and the rod is complete with a carbon line clip which is lightweight and durable, allowing you to create the optimum line angle for better bite indication to your bobbin.
