Part Time Sales Assistant - Weekend Role


Do you love fishing? Join our team as a weekend shop floor assistant! We're seeking enthusiastic anglers who are passionate about fishing or have a keen interest in the sport. This role is perfect for students or anyone looking for weekend-only work. We will provide you with training and teach you the skills you need to be a shop floor assistant. Our shop floor is a fast paced environment! We are looking for an individual that thrives on multitasking and has a keen eye for detail. You will assist in-store customers with an enthusiastic attitude and help with their needs.


Part time 8 to 14 hours over 2 days - Saturday and Sunday

Continuous weekend work!

Reports to: Shop Floor Manager


Responsibilities:

  • Learn our store inside-out to comfortably guide customers to the correct products
  • Utilise your knowledge and experience of fishing, along with the in-store training to ensure your customer chooses the most suitable product for their needs, sourced from our entire range
  • Till and cash handling training will be provided
  • Be constantly aware of the stores shop-floor standards, and maintain the required levels for all displays and merchandise
  • Refill stock levels as required, ensuring that all products are on display in the correct locations and brought forward on the pegs
  • Proactively identify and suggest ideas for improvement to the management
  • Answer incoming calls

  • Previous Retail Store experience would be a huge benefit, not essential

  • Own (or have access to) reliable transport to our semi-rural location just outside Stirling.

  • Pay: £7.50-£11.50 per hour

  • Lastly, the order dispatch team is committed to providing immediate turn-around of our distance sales, accurately and professionally packed and dispatched to UK and international locations.
