IMAX FR Match Rod

Perfect for use on the beach and shore, the IMAX FR Match Rod is ideal for covering bait fishing situations and offers a premium build and quality for handing tough saltwater conditions.

We have the two different models in stock. The Plus and the Extreme.

The FR Match Plus has 2 piece equal length blanks and a 13ft8 length with a 4oz - 7oz casting weight. The rod features a locking reel seat and is designed to be used specifically with fixed spool reels.

This FR Match Extreme has a 13ft8 length with a 5oz - 8oz casting weight for real rough work! The rod has a 2 piece construction and features a locking reel seat allowing for the reel to be placed in up or down casting positions. The rod is designed to be used specifically with multiplier reels.

Fitted throughout are highly durable and saltwater resistant Pac Bay Minima T Guides. The butt section is slim and fully parallel with a Pac Bay Butt cap for optimum bite detection. The rod also features Japanese shrink wrapped sections on the spigot joints to aid in packing the rod down.

The IMAX FR Match Rod has a black and chrome colour design throughout and is supplied in a rod cloth bag for easy transportation.
