The second generation, the Humminbird HELIX 7 Chirp SI GPS G2 Fishfinder offers anglers a stunning 7 inch ultra-wide display, CHIRP Side Imaging/ Down Imaging, CHIRP Digital Sonar, SwitchFire and DualBeam PLUS. One-of-a-kind AutoChart Live and the new Humminbird Basemap cartography built-in.

The SI - Side Imaging Sonar lets you see a 180° side to side perspective on the world below the surface. It also includes Down Imaging Sonar which uses high frequency sound waves to show images of a fish-eye's view of what's happening below your boat.

The SwitchFire sonar and DualBeam Plus sonar puts you in charge of how your data will appear to you using the Clear or Max modes and the DualBeam Plus technology uses two beams for greater detail and a wide coverage area. The narrow beam delivers high-accuracy returns and bottom and the wide beam is best for when you want a larger search area.

The unit has a built in GPS antenna for accurate GPS chart plotting and includes a built-in UniMap cartography with a micro SD card slot for optional maps or for saving waypoints. The Waypoint Management system allows you to save and organise your most important waypoints the way you want to. You can save them alphabetically, by nearest location, by most recently saved, by a specific name, by species, date or even structure.

With a wide selection of new icons to choose from, you can use these to identify waypoints at a glance. As an example you could select “species specific” symbols to identify the species you found most at your waypoint spot.

The AutoChart Live feature also allows you to make a map where there is no map. You can create digital, detailed maps live and on the water and you can also use it to enhance your existing charts. The SmartStrike technology will also take you straight to the action by showing you where the fish are biting at any given moment.

The Humminbird HELIX 7 Chirp SI GPS G2 Fishfinder is supplied with the head unit, a XNT 9 SI 180 T transducer and all parts required for initial operation. There are also manuals supplied for guides and set up.
