The Herbert Miner Half Cock Saddle is a beautifully long neck saddle cape that is filled with long, soft feathers for tying dry flies and offers amazing value for money.

This half saddle has many dry fly hackles throughout and has hackles up to 12 inches long, allowing you to tie plenty of flies using a singular feather. The feathers are long, with a stunning natural sheen and have excellent barbule density for tying dry flies.

The feathers on this saddle are carefully evaluated by professionals of the Whiting Farms Grading Staff and this half saddle has been bronze graded. This grading means the feathers are of excellent quality and are adequate for most fly tying.
