5 Zenith Sintrix 9' #5 is the best rod I have used.
Review by Mike
Perfect rod, bargain price in the sale- excellent service and communication from Angling Active.
It's a shame Hardy have discontinued the Zenith but I see that they have a new comparable model- the Zephrus coming out this month. I will be looking to buy the 10' #5 version when it becomes available. Very impressed with my purchase and the Zenith 9' is destined to become my "go-to" rod for most of my fishing. Thank you Angling Active.

5 Get one while you still can
Review by Martin
This rod exudes quality and attention to detail. I opted for the 9ft #6 model it comes presented in a top quality aluminium tube which in itself is protected by a fabric sock. The four pieces are in a decent rod bag and the 3 upper sections each have a delightful little removable ferrule protector inserted in the end which can be stored in a special pocket in the rod bag while the rod is in use. The sections push together nicely and are easy to align thanks to the little white dots on the the spigots and ferrules, although the exposed spigot sections do detract from the overall look slightly. I paired my rod up with a Hardy Ultralite DD reel and found it balanced beautifully in the hand, just he way I like it. The rig is a pleasure to cast either at both short range or long (2 false casts and 30 yards of line went whistling out through the rings). I would describe the action as medium to fast which I find gutsy enough to deal with a five pound trout and not so poker like as to detract from the pleasure of casting. There are many good rods on the market these days but I do believe Hardy have broken new ground with the Sintrix material, the Zenith is a fine rod.

5 Terrific rod!
Review by AGCoarseman
I purchased recently a Hardy Zenith 8'6" #4 from Angling Active, tested it and immediately ordered two more-one for myself and one as a gift to a friend.
This pretty much sums my opinion on the rod :):)
What a rod this is! In this length/ weight it is probably THE BEST rod money can buy-a truly ultimate fishing tool. I went for a Zenith as I was not entirely satisfied how Sage One #4 performs with lighter tippets-as good a casting tool it might be, it is quite unforgiving and does not protect well 7x and 8x tippets-lots and lots of breakages.
Enter Hardy Zenith and WOW! Just WOW! Soft tip perfect for light tippets and enough backbone to tame bigger fish.
Very accurate casts at 20-25 ft and a sniper in the range 30-50 ft. 70 ft-no problems-could zing them out there all day if needed.
Phenomenally light in the hand, so light actually that needs reels in he range 90-100 grams to balance it correctly.
So far-no downsides found.
All-in-all a fantastic rod!
