The Hardy MTX-S takes a giant step forward in fly reel design with its sensational hybrid construction featuring a carbon fibre/alloy main frame. Offering anglers a strong, lightweight reel with an enhanced life span and sealed disc drag system.

This fly reel has a lightweight and robust construction and a phenomenal industrial styled design. The frame is built utilising alloy and carbon fibre for increased strength, longevity and to help maintain a light, balanced frame.

The sealed carbon fibre disc drag system offers ultra smooth control and is controlled by a 340 degree colour coded regulator. The colour coded 340 degree disc drag allows you for fully set your drag to your fishing requirements using the knob. The coloured dots indicate the settings between a heavy drag (red coloured dots) or a light drag (green coloured dots) and lets you see where your drag is set without interrupting your fishing.

The reel also has a captive spool release that allows you to change spools effortlessly. The cap on the outside of the reel has been intelligently designed so it does not come all the way off when changing spools, giving you less chance of losing it.

The arbor design also allows the reel to hold a high line capacity so you can easily fit more backing on. The reel's main colour is a sleek, stunning titanium and it utilises a striking orange colour throughout for added contrast.
