Hardy HBX Salmon Rod

Hand-built in Alnwick in England and exuding premium performance, quality and aesthetics is the Hardy HBX Salmon Rods. These two handed models have a smooth and fast action for maximised feel, control and presentation.

Boasting Hardy's revolutionary SINTRIX 440 technology, the blanks are extremely light in hand providing an incredibly sensitive line feel coupled with the raw power and strength you need for casting those heavy flies and targeting large fish. With a four-piece construction and fast-action blank design the HBX is easy to transport and gives you the power you need when fighting large stubborn fish yet and the grace needed for a delicate cast.

The handle is constructed out of premium FLOR-grade shive cork, expertly hand-turned on the laith to ensure a delicately smooth finish and perfectly shaped grip each time. There are also specially placed hardwood and alloy spacers on the rod to protect it from damage and further adds to the overall build and rigidity.

The rod features high-end a Fuji titanium stripper guide and REC black pearl recoil guides. With a stealth black finish and hand-written serial number on the blanks, the gorgeous appearance of the rod adds to the premium feel and experience that is the HBX.

The Hardy HBX Salmon Rod is available in a selection of models. It comes supplied in soft cloth bag and a premium black aluminium powder-coated rod tube complete with engraved end caps to protect the rod during transportation.
