Greys GR80 Salt Fly Rod

For taking to the sea, the Greys GR80 Salt Fly Rod offers anglers a specialised saltwater fly rod that is composed of corrosion resistant components to preserve the life span of the rod and to strengthen the rods durability.

This rod is designed as 100% saltwater safe and includes Grey’s new innovative 3M Powerlux technology. The carbon construction is infused with this new resin technology to increase the stiffness of the rod and the blank strength. This technology increases the blank stiffness by 60% and strength by up to 30% over standard fibre technology.

As a result of this technology, it improves the rod's weight whilst offering a smooth and refined action that performs beyond expectations. The handle is crafted from AAA quality cork and is a full wells handle with a fighting butt.

The rods have a hook keeper which allows you to wind your line in tight when walking from one location to the next. There are also rod alignment dots which will help you quickly and easily piece the rod together.

Each rod is supplied in a rod tube to allow for easy and convenient transportation.
