This stunning travel rod packs all the fantastic and innovative features from the 4 piece GR70 Fly Rod into this 6 piece version and still manages to obtain a fast action. The fast action on the rod makes it ideally suited to anglers who have perfected their casting methods and timing as this rod will help you cast at a long distance as well as cast quickly, even in blustery weather.

The fast action produces a small amount of flexibility in the tip so the rest of the rod body remains rigid and firm. This really helps improve the retrieval of a fish, in particular, larger fish. The power in the rod is found within it's fast action as well as the high modulus carbon construction. This material produces an incredibly solid and stiff structure, increasing the rod's life span and durability.

The finish on the travel rod includes a special process to reduce any kind of brittle properties produced by the carbon and the AAA high class cork handle gives this rod a stunning final touch. The reel seat is an aesthetically striking 2 part skeletal design with a top of the range carbon woven spacer.
