Greys GR40 Fly Rod

The Greys GR40 Fly Rod is a premium built rod, part of the faster action range of rods offered by Greys, allowing for faster line speeds with minimal effort and available in a wide range of models to suit every fishing scenario.

The GR40 has a medium to fast action, giving a great mix of versatility and performance and offers a deeper level of flex into the blank, suiting most anglers who want the performance benefit of a fast action rod. Built from high intermediate modulus carbon blanks, these rods have incredible durability and are light in weight, making them feel effortless to cast.

The handle is made from AAA cork and includes an anodised aluminium, saltwater safe reel seat with twin locking nuts. There is a laser engraved Greys logo fin on the butt cap and each rod includes a hook keeper ring. This will let you wind your line in tight and make it easier for you to walk from place to place with your rod.

The Greys GR40 Fly Rod is black in colour with gold colour accents throughout. Each rod has a 4 piece construction and is supplied in a cordura tube. You can select your choice of model from our drop down menu.
