Description / Daiwa New Era Fly Reel + 3 Spools
The NewEra fly reel is a world first and takes the cartridge spool system to a whole new level.
Each cartridge is entirely reversable and made from precision machined aluminium, finished off with colour coded anodising. Spool location is achieved via a recessed channel which meets three spring loaded ball bearings set within the spool.
A central, screw down cap secures the spool into place. When loosened the cap remains in place ensuring it cannot be lost.
The disc drag system is powered by carbon washers for smooth powerful line release. Adjustment is made easier thanks to a knurled, easy grip dial.
The reel is supplied as a package deal, including three anodised spools in a protective reel case with compartments for each cartridge.
