Feeders

Feeders for coarse fishing are available in different shapes and styles, all designed to be fished with different baits and different rigs. Blockend feeders are designed to be fished with maggots, the feeder is loaded and cast out and the holes allow the maggots to slowly crawl out of the feeder and disperse in the swim.
Cage feeders and open ended feeders are fished in conjunction with a groundbait mix. The feeder is filled with groundbait and cast into the swim where the water causes the groundbait to expand and fall from the feeder. Method feeders can be fished with groundbait or pellet mixes, they have an open top so the bait isn’t enclosed in the feeder. They are designed to draw fish to the feeder and are fished with a short rig so the bait is presented close to the feeder.
