Rapala

It all began with one Finnish man and a carving knife, back in the 1930s there came a revelation when it came to Rapala lures - big fish eat little fish but particularly when little fish are wounded. With this in mind Lauri Rapala carved what we know now as the original floater. A long thin crankbait with a slightly off centre wobble and as they say the rest is history. Since the monumental release of the original floater, Rapala has worked long and hard to make sure they are at the forefront of innovation when it comes to lures, allowing them to release some of the best fish catchers of the past century. On top of the hard work Rapala has done on their lures, they have expanded their range to include fishing tools, accessories, clothing, weigh scales, float tube fins, bags and many, many more items to cover every need of the modern angler.
