Cocksburn reservoir is owned by Scottish Water and the fishing rights are leased by Stirling Angling Club.

Angling permits are only issued for Brown Trout between the dates of 15th March to 6th October inclusive. No other fishing is permitted by non members. Within some constraints members may fish for Pike.

Day Permits are valid from Dawn to 1 hour after Dusk and available from Angling Active.

  • FLY ONLY, no lures.
  • Day permits are bank fishing only, or float tube.
