An extremely versatile topwater crankbait, the Berkley Surge Shad is an extremely buoyant crankbait that provides an exaggerated and erratic wobbling action.

The primary design of the Surge shad was to allow anglers to target actively feeding predators that are predating near the surface or those that are suspended in the upper layers of the water column.

The Surge Shads lip design has been tailored for multiple presentations. Simply reel it, twitch it, or aggressively jerk it and the bait will work across the surface or just under the surface.

The surge shad features Berkley's unique FlashDisc feature that integrates a stainless steel disc into the belly of the bait, not only does this provide added attraction but it also allows the bait to track better on the water and enhances the body roll action of the bait.
