Veniard Amherst Pheasant Tippet Feathers

These Amherst Pheasant Tippet Feathers have been specially selected for fly tying and are the perfect choice for creating wings and tails as well as cheeks on Pike flies due to their size and naturally decorative style.

These tippet feathers work very well as an unusual tail material on your fly or equally well as a pair of matched wings on a fully dressed Salmon fly. The natural decoration works particularly well on steelhead or salmon flies. Due to their small size the tippets are also commonly used when tying spider flies by being wound as hackle.

These feathers are Grade 1 meaning they have very high quality barbs and smaller barbs which are more appropriate when tying smaller size flies.

The Amherst Pheasant Tippet Feathers are stunningly beautiful and delicate. Naturally, they are vibrant white with clear and defined black markings.
