Ultraspey Fly Lines are designed and developed by world champion speycaster Eoin Fairgrieve.
The Ultraspey Shooting Head system is the ultimate interchangeable shooting head system for Atlantic Salmon. Eoin is an ex-river guide, a former world team speycasting champion and full-time professional speycasting instructor. With over 24 years of experience working in the fly fishing industry, Eoin has extensive knowledge in both fishing for Atlantic salmon and designing tackle for modern speycasting techniques.
Each line profile incorporates unique taper specifications to allow fast, energy efficient turnover for all levels of casting ability.
These lines are designed to maximise water coverage and ultimately fly presentation, even in the most challenging conditions!
High-energy tapers designed to turn over heavy leaders and weighted flies.
Pioneering Polyfuse XT coating technologies offering super slick line-shooting abilities.
Low-stretch Power Core braid for improved sensitivity during the casting cycle and enhanced hook-up detection.
All Ultraspey fly lines are produced using a unique dual coating process that fuses a super slick, tough outer coating to an extremely supple polymer base that, unlike PVC, will not crack. Each line comes with a 28 day satisfaction guarantee plus a five year non-crack guarantee provided by Airflo.
