Description / Airflo Skagit FIST
The Airflo Skagit FIST shooting head is perfect for Salmon as this line fishes deeper and slower with a triple density construction and the F.I.S.T name in the title is abbreviated for Floating, Intermediate, Sink-Three.
This shooting head is built with a unique, three density design that allows the head’s rear to float high for improved drift tracking. This then transitions into an intermediate middle section and includes a Sink 3 rated tip.
The density formation allows the head to 'tip down' in the water column and give you a near-perfect straight line from the fly to the tip of the rod. The different densities throughout the line are indicated by a colour change from Mantis Green to a stealthy Dark Grey tip.
The front and back both included welded loops for ease and the front has the line model and size printed on it for easy identification. The head is built on a low stretch Power Core for maximum performance and has a durable coating that provides slickness and long lasting life.
The Airflo Skagit FIST is available in a range of grain weights that you can select from our drop down menu.

5 Best Skagit line for deep run and cold water
Review by Jose A
Fishing springer atlantic salmon or winter steelhead on a fly with hig and cold waters means go deep and slow swing. This line makes it easy, since lifts nice and the sink tip combines with suitable tip to go deep and keep there your fly. Cast really big flies and long tips with ease
