The Airflo Ridge Running Fly Line from Angling Active is the UK’s No.1 selling running line. With it's super slick coating for long distance casts and oversized integrated flexi-loop for effortless head changes this running line is the perfect compliment to any shooting head.

Airflo's Ridge Technology was originally developed when an ex-racing driver suggested that tyre technology could hold the key to a huge leap forward in fly line design. When Airflo looked at how rain tyres lost grip on a dry track, they realised that running ridges along the entire length of the line would greatly reduce friction and improve shootability.

Ridge technology has been tried and tested on the rest of their range, but it really makes an impact on the Airflo running lines. The small ridges reduce surface friction to not only increase distance, but also help reduce tangles. Loose coils of line slide over each other with ease to eliminate snarl ups.

Some of the Airflo Ridge Running Lines now include the Super-Dri running lines that include Airflo's popular Super Dri technology to give these lines incredible durability and slickness. The Super Dri lines provide these running lines with improved slickness and makes them less likely to become tangled. These lines are clearly marked as Super-Dri Floating lines. The Super-Dri technology is Airflo's new chemical treatment upon the line which ensures lines with this technology will float higher in the water column and lift off much easier. These lines also include a new black band at the end of the line so you can easily gauge where you are in the loading process for great casts every time.

The Airflo Ridge Running Lines are available as either the standard ridge running line, the Super-Dri ridge running line or the ridge extreme which is a stiffer version designed to shoot through the rods eyes more efficiently.
