The Airflo Outlander Vest Back Pack is every anglers dream with a combined vest and backpack in one! This versatile vest and bag combo has generously sized storage space for your fishing tackle and your gear.
This backpack and vest combo is available in two versions, the medium with a 15 litre backpack capacity and the large with a 25 litre capacity. However both sizes will fit most people as they are designed in a one size fits all style.
The vest features multiple front pockets that can easily hold two large fly boxes and other tackle items. There are also dual zinger attachments provided to keep your fishing gear on hand and ready to use for a quick change. The full storage specifications on the vest includes left and right vertical box pockets, zip down fly trays, mesh pockets on inside and out, 6 front D rings, zinger and gear attachments.
The integrated backpack offers you plenty of room for storing items such as a light jacket, spare fishing reels or even a drink bottle. If you happen to need a bit more space, there is also an expander pocket to extend the backpack.

Love this product, pockets galore and all in the right place! Fly patches work well and have plenty of space for a day on the river, rucksack area has loads of space for a rain jacket, lunch etc so this really does have everything you need.

Well it arrived quickly and on time, the rucksack and vest fell comftable and hardly notice it, now have access to my flies with ease and that many d rings on it there's plenty of places to have what you need to hand. The 15l can hold my daiwa wading jacket along with my new reel.. Plus other stuff. The front vest comes with a handy rod holder so you can change flies with ease.

Wore the vest yesterday for the first time.
I "loaded" it with everything I'd need and more, including a flask and packed lunch.
Thoroughly enjoyed the freedom the vest gave, both when walking and fishing.
No restriction to casting and everything to hand when you need it.
Lots of pockets, D rings and the two fly boxes are just in the right place. The zingers are very handy too.

Certainly designed by an angler for anglers.

First: the product arrived well-packed and in plenty of time - and AA was the cheapest supplier by a considerable margin.
After a happy time filling up all the pockets, clips and niches, I gave the Vest a test with an hour's trek to a couple of Highland hill lochs. The 25l pack is plenty for the cold weather gear that's necessary up here in March and the vest itself is very comfortable to wear. Once fishing, the Mae West frontage doesn't interfere with even my eccentric casting.
In hindsight, though I could live without the integrated fly boxes - preferring to use my own. However, the gaping maw of these pockets does mean that other stuff falls out if you're not careful.
The big niggle on this otherwise excellent item is the poor quality of the bent-wire clips on the plastic zingers. The very sharp ends caused a few (minor) scratches and a couple of (major) equipment snags. They've now been replaced by clips cannibalized from other kit but that shouldn't be necessary.
Overall, though, the Vest is everything I need - other than more opportunities to use it.
