Made by the brand Zennox, the Airflo 1080P HD Wi-Fi Action Camera is the 2nd version of the HD action camera and now has built-in Wi-Fi which connects to the ‘GoPlus’ phone application, allowing you to remotely control the camera.
This highly versatile and light in weight camera is perfect for the rigours of the outdoors including activities like fishing, biking, skiing, mountain climbing etc. The camera has a 2 inch HD LCD screen with a 140 degree wide angle lens and captures everything in brilliant 1080P HD resolution.
The built-in Wi-Fi capability allows the camera to be remotely controlled from your smart phone, via the ‘GoPlus’ application. Features of this app include full camera control, live preview, photo playback and content sharing. All footage recorded can also be stored on a micro SD card from 4GB up to 32GB (not included), allowing you to enjoy recording your adventures.
The camera also includes multi-language settings and a 1.5-hour battery life. Don’t worry if your battery runs out during filming, as this camera will also automatically save the recording before switching off.
The camera is waterproof using the waterproof housing and can be submerged up to 30m. It also includes 10 accessories and a variety of mounts, including one that allows you to attach the camera to your fishing rod. As an older person who is not very “Tech Savvy” it took me a while to come to grips with operating the camera.
It’s actually quite simple when you know what you’re doing. Younger folk will take to it like a duck to water.
I’ve used it with a head mount while doing some casting. I also took it on holiday and got some great underwater footage of my grandchildren.
You’ll need to buy a micro SD card to use it.
Great fun in lots of situations, not only fishing.
