The Revo Beast family needs no introduction, known worldwide as the go-to baitcaster for any heavy duty fishing applications, the Abu Garcia Revo Beast XLP always delivers!

The new Abu Garcia Revo Beast XLP is the smaller brother of the famous Toro Beast. Coming in a 40 size its more compact than its bigger brother but still has the same cranking power. With a staggering 30lb of drag pressure thanks to Abu Garcia's Power Stack Carbon Matrix Drag System this baitcaster is designed to tame the biggest of freshwater and saltwater species.

Equipped with 7 stainless steel HPCR bearings + 1 roller bearing for a buttery smooth retrieve, the D2 Gear provides a more efficient gear system while improving gear durability, providing unrivalled cranking power. All this is housed within Abu's X2-craftic alloy frame for increased durability and lightweight compact design.

The Revo Beast also comes with Abu's Infiniti brake system which gives you a combination of a magnetic braking system and a pitch braking system to provide a more refined tuning system to optimise your casting settings.

The Revo Beast comes in to models a standard and a high gear ratio (High Speed) model. The standard model comes with a 5.8:1 gear ratio and picks up 27 inches of line per turn as the High Speed model comes with a 7.3:1 gear ratio and will pick up 34 inches of line per turn. The higher speed reel will appeal to jerk bait fishing while the lower gear ratio will appeal to anglers throwing lures that produce a lot of resistance like spinnerbaits, crankbaits and soft plastics.

Finished in a stealthy matt grey and black finish gives the Beast the aggressive looks to match its aggressive performance. Overall the Revo Beast XLP is an impressive bit of kit and will appeal to pike lure anglers.
