Abu Garcia Black Max FD Combo

Following on from the popular Black Max rod, multiplier reel and the Black Max baitcasting kit, the Abu Garcia Black Max FD Combo gives value and reliability. The combo includes the Black Max rod and fixed spool reel.

The rod is made from 24 tonne graphite for a durable, light weight and balanced design, featuring 2 piece sections. The rod has sensitive and strong performance and is fitted with stainless steel guides with titanium oxide inserts and a comfortable EVA handle for improved grip.

The fixed spool reel has 3 ball bearings + 1 roller bearing for smooth operation and is constructed from a lightweight graphite body and rotor. The spool is made from tough machined aluminium and the Everlast bail system gives better overall durability.

The reel has a Rocket Line Management system for better line control and the Rocket Spool Lip design gives control when the line is coming off the spool for fewer wind knots. The reel also includes a slow oscillation system for even line lay with all different types of line.
