I purchased this item to use when lure fishing for pike, looking for something that would not constantly snag the treble hooks on plugs. The Savage Gear net with its rubber mesh should preclude the frustration of trying to untangle trebles. I've yry ton use the net, but overall I'm impressed by the build quality and design. The spreaded block is solid and locks the net firmly into the handle, plus allowing it to be folded back whilst travelling or in storage. The only change I would make is an option for a telescopic handle as the one supplied is a bit short for working from a bank. (Posted on 19/06/2011)
