A fine bar of silver!
Here is a picture sent into us from Crawford McClintock of his friend Malcolm Tilley’s first Forth Springer!
Caught on a fly tied by himself he calls “The wee Forth Fly” a bright yellow concoction! Weighing 15-16 lbs and covered with sea lice it’s an absolute belter !
Crawford wrote “I’m not at all envious…..? “I just tailed it in for him ! Amazing how his smile is parallel to the fish’s belly” !
Here is one of our customers Thomas McCormik & son with a few catches from their recent trip to Loch Etive.

NIce Thornie

Young Mr McCormick with a nice Pollack

Well done young man! Keep outfishing your Dad!

Specimen Silver!
Here is one of our customers Neil Benson with an outstanding Scottish specimen Roach!
The fish weighed in at 3lb 1oz and was caught on a bunch of maggots with a size 14 hook using a helicopter bolt rig, oh and that was just his sleeper rod!
Well done Neil another addition to an ever growing list of specimen captures!

She a big old girl!
It was a happy christmas indeed for Angling Active customer Darren Reilly. Darren decided to venture out in the cold with his new pike fly outfit he purchased from our store only a few days before this!
It turned to be well worth braving the elements with him achieving a new personal best of 33lb, and to get it on the fly makes it an even more fulfilling achievment!
A fine specimen Darren well done from all at Angling Active!

Fish Of A Lifetime!
Check out the size of this 10lb 8oz beautiful big wild Brown Trout caught accidently whilst Pike fishing in the Scottish highlands on a Roach dead bait ( purchased from our store) by local Pike angler Ross Watterson. The fish was returned after a powerful fight exiting the water on many occasion’s and giving Ross plenty of heart stopping moment’s!
Well Done Ross!
