About the Greys GR50 Fly Rod
The new GR50 high performance fly rod from leading fly fishing brand Greys replaces the much loved GRXi+ rod range. The GRXi+ and former GRX rods set the benchmark in mid-priced fly rods over the last 10years. So the question has to be asked - has Greys improved on their flagship model? About the Greys GTS900 Fly Reel
The Greys GTS900 Fly Reel is the newest brother in the GTS range and lives up to being Greys’ flagship freshwater model with its cosmetically stunning design and enhanced specifications throughout.

Built with a heavy duty 6061 bar stock aluminium construction, this fly reel boasts phenomenal strength and long lasting durability that does not compromise weight. The reel feels amazingly light in weight and easy to handle with a large arbour design.

The centralised twin Rulon disc drag provides the reel with incredibly smooth and powerful line control and the large arbor style will give you a larger backing capacity and help increase the speed of line retrieves.

The spools can easily be changed using the lever spool release function. This design makes it convenient and quick to change spools by flicking a small leaver that is located behind the front spokes. This will release the spool and it will hold your spool securely in place.

You can also change the GTS900 from left or right hand wind effortlessly due to the “tool-less” conversion feature and there are spare spools available to fit the various models from the GTS900 range.

The Greys GTS900 Fly Reel is supplied in its very own neoprene pouch and has a sleek, Titanium silver coloured design, with black detailing throughout, including the Greys’ symbol logo.

About the Greys Platinum Stealth Fly Line
The range of Greys Platinum Stealth Fly Lines are specifically designed with finely tuned tapers to create the perfect balance between power and delicate presentation whilst still achieving incredible distance.

This range is the ultimate combination of distance and presentation and neither of these fundamental features have been sacrificed in the design process of these lines. Built on an ultra low memory, this provides the lines with phenomenal casting performance and the smooth, slick finish allows the line to pass easily through your guides and really cast out across the water.

The taper designs provide you with a delicate and light presentation that gives finely controlled turnover combined with outstanding power. The lines feature subtle dual colours that enhance the line’s stealth capabilities as the colour will reduce the risk of spooking any fish. Each line also has a subdued stealth finish, colour and line lift off.

In the Stealth range you will find floating, intermediate and Wakesaver (Float/Int tip) versions.

The Wakesaver is a full floating line with a short 2ft intermediate tip section merging into it. The sinking tip eliminates leader wake on the slowest retrieves, and reduces the angle that the tippet makes with the fly line. The high visibility floating section helps detect subtle takes and the taper allows for good long-range presentation.

The Wakesaver is suitable for a whole range of techniques like static nymphs, wet hoppers, loch-style drifting and fishing suspender buzzers. Even dry fly fishing can be revolutionised when the surface tension prevents the leader from sinking and the fish are spooked.

The Greys Platinum Stealth Fly Line is perfect for use on rivers, streams and Stillwater and is available in a range of line weights. Each line is also supplied with two braided loops.
