The Airflo Ridge Running Fly Line is the perfect compliment to any shooting head.
Airflo's Ridge Technology was originally developed when an ex-racing driver suggested that tyre technology could hold the key to a huge leap forward in fly line design. When Airflo looked at how rain tyres lost grip on a dry track, they realised that running ridges along the entire length of the line would greatly reduce friction and improve shootability.
Ridge technology has been tried and tested on the rest of their range, but it really makes an impact on the Airflo running lines. The small ridges reduce surface friction to not only increase distance, but also help reduce tangles. Loose coils of line slide over each other with ease to eliminate snarl ups.
The low stretch Power core, with their unique polyurethane coating and an oversized 'Flexi loop' complete the Airflo Ridge Running Fly Line - what we consider to be the ultimate running line for shooting heads.
