Why Ridge Clear Delta Floating?
From our experience with existing Floating Ridge lines, we just knew how much better the lines shot through the guides and wanted to offer the advantage in our new range of clear lines.
Ridging the coating allows us to make lines that are supple without any reduction to casting performance. They help reduce tangles and improve shootability.
When the Ridges fill with water the clarity is incredible and this also helps effectively lubricate the flyline on each and every cast. Unlike some coating techniques, the ridges run along the lines full length and flow well through the rod guides with a minimum of noise, this indicates how little friction is being produced. With a little tinkering in our production process we’ve been able to reduce the stretch in the core, making these lines incredibly sensitive compared withother clear intermediates.
The mono we’ve used is more supple than regular mono-cored flylines,this helps reduce memory even on the coldest of days making them perfect for winter fishing on
small Stillwater's.
The intermediate lines come in sink rates of 1.5” per second for the ‘Fast Int’ and our favourite ‘Slow Int’ at 0.5” per second - this line is perfect for holding the flies close to the surface without any wake.
