Airflo Outlander Mesh Fly Vest

Bought this vest on the day you opened your new store, and have not been disapointed in buying it. Now don't need a bag when fly fishing as everything fits into the multitude of pockets, from a couple of fly boxes, tippet, priest, keep bag, and change of spool all fits with room to spare. The vest is very light and you don't realise you're wearing it. Perfect for the angler who wants the freedom to wander a loch without having to carry a heavy bag of gear around. The vest arrived more quickly than promised, which was the second good thing about it. I already knew the first, which is the price. I would say it was remarkable value even at full price but with the discount was an absolute bargain. I have worn it once so far. I'm of average build but for wearing over just a light pullover I had to pull the adjustment straps to their smallest size. Over a warm jacket later in the year, it will be good to be able to expand it. There are enough pockets to hold nearly every bit of gear I own (so far) with room to spare but I found that if I filled them, it got a bit bulky and restricted movement. Actually only taking what I need and being more selective about which pockets to fill will ensure complete comfort. The quality of manufacture is outstanding. I'm thinking of wearing it next time I have to fly - I'd be able to pack most of my luggage into it and not have to worry about those pesky cabin baggage weight restrictions! (Posted on 28/08/2011)

Cool looking vest but there are some issues. The zip down fly box is tricky to use under a rain jacket (and who goes fishing without a rain jacket?). The bulkyness of the chest pockets makes it difficult to see into the pockets below and you have to do so by feel or pull the jacket away from you to see. It needs a fleece fly patch. Excellent value fly vest, perfect for the job it was designed to do - carry all. Robust design with the advantage of being fully adjustable. Well this must be one of the best fly vests out there. I would also recommend this to anyone thats serious about flyfishing. Caught a big fat huge 18 punder the other week there oooo mannn get yourself up to the dam in banknock. Thats were a get all my trout oooo mann

Great quality vest. Made from high quality material . Over 19 pockets for all your equipment and fly pocket is a must. Fully adjustable . Worth spending the extra Money when compared to slightly cheaper vests. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a mid-range lightweight fly vest. (Posted on 29/08/2010)
