Utilising their unique ‘low torsion’ carbon blend and combining it with Nano technology created a rod so light and strong, it really is revolutionary. Not only does Nano have the major impact on strength and lifting power that you’d expect, but it also helps enhance the action of the blank with quicker tip recovery and even greater energy efficiency for super smooth casting performance.
The end product has been finished to the highest standard - with quality chromed single leg snakes to reduce weight, not to mention an eye catching new reel seat.
Despite such an impressive specification, the Airlite Nan-Tec still remains user friendly with its smooth medium fast action.
All rods feature a full wells handle and a fighting butt. Ranging in weight from 3.39oz to 4.06oz these super lightweight rods are a delight to cast, even for extended periods.
A 10ft #8 model with its own specific action is also available within this range.
What is Carbon Nano Tube Technology?
Applying Carbon Nano Tube, or CNT technology creates a stronger resin distribution system, this helps eliminate any weakness in the blank to create rods with significantly increased strength and improved impact resistance, without adding any significant weight to the blank.
The resulting rods are light, smooth and ultra strong - a 50% increase in flexural strength and a 25% increase to impact resistance - without any effect on the superb casting performance you come to expect from all Airflo fly rods
